    Crowds around 'Sydney' just before its launching. Mrs Bruce, wife of the Australian High Commissioner in London is to launch the cruiser. A bottle of Champaign breaks against the ship and the ship starts moving backwards. Crowds looking on - it is not possible to see Mrs Bruce - only a big bunch of flowers indicates that she is there. The new ship slides and plunges into water. Crowds cheer.
