MS and CU Glenn in space helmet in reclining position, possibly testing equipment, he tries out different movements he will have to make during flight. Various shots, technicians making adjustments to attachments on John Glenn's space suit, including a notebook attached to his knees. MS Glenn, on his back in take off position, adjusting wrist attachments.

    LS The NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) transfer van driving up, Glenn in space suit gets out (MS), waves and enters building.     Note: Original record states this is a "Ranger" rocket, other sources state Glenn's record first flight was made in an "Atlas rocket".
