    This would appear to be the huge fire at Butlers' Wharf,Tower Bridge which started on the late morning of Saturday 7th. March,1931 and burnt for several days.It was one of the biggest fires in London that year,maybe the biggest, and proved a great spectacle for Londoners drawing people from a large area about to view the flames and the work of the London Fire Brigade land and river units and,also,the London Salvage Corps.
