    Greyhounds are put into their traps for the start of a race. The dogs are released and race after the stuffed hare. Shots of several of the dogs held by their owners.

    Large crowds at horse racing meeting. Pans across the various book makers stalls. The bookies have big banners up. The horses line up at the start and 'they're off'. Various shots of the race - it is over the flat. Large crowds are there to watch.

    Intertitle reads: "and in slow motion"

    Slow motion views of the horses passing the winning post. The winner is led in.

    N.B. The greyhound racing section shows bad signs of decomposition. The race looks like a big one - any information gratefully received.

    Probably the White City. The man on the right of the two trainers holding two greyhounds each is Bill "Darkie" Smith who worked at the White City. The horse race meeting, of course, is Derby Day at Epsom.
