A circus brings entertainment to sick children in a New York Hospital.
Full title reads: "New York. 'Here we are again!' Old & Young can always enjoy 'the Circus' - but what a tonic when it comes to sick kiddies in Hospital!!"
New York, United States of America.
Clowns, stilt walkers, very short people (both men and women - possibly dwarves or midgets) parade in front of crowd of children in grounds of building.
A clown plays with a small pig which runs over and obstacle and returns for some milk from its master.
Small children clap.
Clowns act out sawing a clown in two. Before they can finish two midgets / dwarfs leap out of the box to expose their deception. Clown makes joke with explosion on clown car. C/U two children watching from cot, one white, one African American. Another trick with the clown's car. Large audience clap. More clowning with two men boxing in costume while a massive costumed policeman tries to break it up. More clapping scenes from the hospital inmates. The slapstick continues. Shots of some of the children in wheelchairs as they applaud. Yet more slapstick fighting.
