    M/S as Stanley Baldwin stands on a platform making a speech, the camera pans across the huge crowd gathered to the statue wrapped in a flag.

    Intertitle - 'Truly is her life's work crowned.'

    The intertitle fades out to a shot of her statue after the unveiling. L/S of the statue with crowds around it, many people, mostly women, lay floral tributes at the bottom.

    Intertitle - 'for a few brief moments let the Pathe Gazette conjure up the past.'
    Intertitle - '17 years ago, Mrs Pankhurst, her daughters, "General" Drummond, Annie Kenny, and suffragettes in thousands, fought and suffered for the cause.'

    M/S as more people lay wreaths at the statue. M/S before it is unveiled. M/S of the statue after unveiling. M/S's of floral tributes being laid. M/S of the statue.     The date of the unveiling was 6 March 1930.

    "M/S of a woman conducting enthusiastically" - that's Ethel Smyth.

    "M/S of speakers in the middle of the crowd, it pans up to the church." - rather than a church this is actually the Victoria Tower of the Houses of Parliament.
