    The event seen here was the Evening News and Embassy powerboat race, and took place on 25th October 1969.

    Veronica Carlson mentioned in the shots list was a TV and film star of the era, and made appearances in some Hammer horror productions.

    I believe that my fathers boat called SARJON number 39 is shown in the clip is there any more footage of this race and can I get a better quality copy? Than the online copy?
