M/S as he pulls up in front of pupils and beckons to a girl to follow him. She gets on bike and he points to handlebar and kick start. Various shots as she rides off with the instructor beside her. She rides down the hill then stops, the instructor checks brake on handle, camera pans down to brake. M/S as the girl gets off the bike and he gets on.
L/S of another instructor D. Robson coming down the road on bike, he puts his right hand out and turns at mark in road. M/S as he pulls up in front of pupils, he beckons with hand. M/S pupil riding on motorbike who does the same signal and turns and stops by Robson who gives him some tips.
L/S Robson and Harold Kite on bikes going fast down road, they pass through markings and slam their brakes on. One stops dead and the other stops a considerable distance away because he has only used his rear brake. One of them beckons to the pupils. One pupil marches from one bike to the other to measure distance in paces. Tony Hunt leads bikes slowly around obstacles in zigzag fashion to demonstrate good control.
