    This Jaguar, Reg. No. 77 RW, is still running as of 2013, and is the oldest surviving open E-type.

    The footage we see here shows the car being tested before its official launch at Geneva in March 1961.

    It's worth noting that this test took place before the mandatory 70mph speed limit came in to force, and the Jaguar reached speeds along the M1 of 149mph!
