    CU McCloy seated at his desk addressing Pathe viewers: "Forty five million German will shortly commence the task of governing themselves. The world will watch with the greatest interest how the Germans use this freedom after 16 years of dictatorial suppression." (Nat. sound). CU McCloy speaking: "Two World Wars have proven that the future peace of Europe depends upon Germany. It ought not require further violence to convince the Germans that their bid for European and world domination is for ever over. (Nat. sound).
