London. M/S as an old wartime bus, used for carrying troops, is driven along the road. It is being sent over to Vancouver in Canada for their Jubilee celebrations. M/S of the driver speaking to a man, C/U of the man. The bus drives away.
London. L/S as policemen carry out sacks full of money for the New Tabernacle Provident Society's Annual share-out and put it in a van. M/S of the sign for the share-out. M/S of Councillor Davies, mayor of Shoreditch, receiving the first dividend, he shakes hands with the man. Various shots of people queuing up for their money, and emerging afterwards looking happy.
Banbury, Oxfordshire. M/S of students dressed up as Victorian rugby players with false moustaches, they ride along in a horse and cart. Various shots of people arriving at Bloxham school for old fashioned rugby match. M/S of the team stood with a man announcing the match. Various shots of the game which does not seem to have any rules as they all pile on each other and run around.
King's Cross, London. M/S of Mr Miles, father of quadruplets. Kenneth and George Weston present him with a doll for each quad then initiate him into the Cads Club with old school tie and silver tankard, they all pretend to drink from them. M/S of him holding the dolls and laughing.
Cranwell, Lincolnshire. L/S of a band playing as Royal Air Force (R.A.F.) cadets stand to attention. They are inspected by a senior officer. Various shots as they march along at their passing-out ceremony. One man marches up and is presented with a sword, he shakes hands with an officer and salutes. L/S of the cadets.
Belfast, Ulster, Northern Ireland. Various shots as a lady carrying a bunch of flowers walks up some steps to a launching platform. Various shots as she stands on the platform with other officials then pulls a lever to launch a new Australian liner. Various shots as it slides into the sea and the camera pans across it. M/S of workers on the dock. Various shots of the ship in the water.
