    Intertitle - 'Virginia and Massachusetts' (America, USA) - L/S of huge waves crashing in the sea, caused by a hurricane. M/S of water flooding houses and flowing through the streets, policemen wade through. M/S of a fallen tree and water flowing through a wood in 75 miles per hour gale. M/S of Norfolk in Virginia, the streets are flooded and people wade through, a policeman attempts to cycle through the water which is up to his elbows. M/S as a man gallantly carries a lady, they laugh. M/S of people sailing down the street in a boat. M/S of fallen telegraph poles and trees. Various shots of the wreckage of buildings and the debris left by the hurricane.

    Intertitle - 'Long Island' (America, USA) - M/S of Jock MacLean playing in the American Amateur Open Golf Championship. His opponent Johnny Fisher hits the ball while people stand behind and watch. Fisher putts the ball and the crowds cheer. M/S as he putts it into another hole and wins the championship. M/S as he holds the Cup and makes a speech about how pleased he is. M/S as Jock makes a speech saying the best man won.
    Intertitle - 'Lourdes' (France) - M/S of a train wreck on the tracks, men try and clear it. Various shots of the wrecked carriages and debris, the train looks to be completely destroyed, M/S of axles and bits of carriage. 14 people were killed, they were returning from a pilgrimage to Lourdes.

    Intertitle - 'Portsmouth' (Hampshire) - M/S of a group of people stood behind a fence. C/U of Miles Hawk, M/S of him with A. E. Clauston (?) in front of aeroplane. M/S as a 'plane taxis. M/S of C. G. Allington and Lieutenant Booth with a B.A. Eagle aeroplane. M/S as D. Llewellyn (?) gets out of an aeroplane, M/S of him smiling. M/S of Flight Lieutenant Tommy Rose and Jack Bagshaw. Various shots of other pilots and aeroplanes which will be making the flight to South Africa.

    Intertitle - 'New York' (America, USA) - M/S of Sarah Churchill (daughter of Winston Churchill) walking along the deck of a ship, someone takes her photograph. L/S of her posing for a battery of cameras. C/U as she makes a speech about how happy she is to be in America as all her family have been before her. She will make no comment about her personal affairs until her brother arrives the next day. The narrator explains that she has come over to see her boyfriend Vic Oliver and her irate brother has followed her. M/S of Vic Oliver in front of microphones, journalists want to know if he is going to marry Sarah Churchill, he says he can't answer the question at that time, he has to wait until her brother Randolph arrives tomorrow.

    Intertitle - 'Bradford' (West Yorkshire) - L/S of Bradford's new Girls' Grammar School. M/S of Princess Mary, the Princess Royal, (Viscountess Lascelles) walking with an elderly lady. She stops to shake hands with a lady in Girl Guide Leader's (?) uniform. Girls line up and Princess Mary enters the school. M/S of people watching, M/S as she helps to plant a tree by shovelling the earth around it. M/S of crowd watching.
