John Roosevelt marries Anne Clark at Nahas, Massachusetts.
Titles read: "NUPTIAL - ANNE CLARK WEDS JOHN ROOSEVELT".
Nahas, Massachusetts, United States of America.
M/Ss of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, his wife Eleanor and his grandchildren arriving in an open car for the wedding of John Roosevelt (Franklin's youngest son) and Anne Clark. Large crowds wait outside to catch a glimpse of the family. Anne Clark arrives; we do not see her face as she gets out of the car. A cameraman sits at the top of a lamppost and films with a handheld camera.
While the service is going on the spectators outside have cold drinks from a thermos flask, sleep in the sun and one girl strikes a pose in her shorts while waiting for the newlyweds to appear. When they do, John looks very happy but Anne looks somewhat perturbed and blinks as the camera flashlights go off.
