The Men's Hammer competition seen here took place on 24 July 1952.

The somewhat burly figure throwing the Hammer at 00:55, (number 751), is Karl Wolf of Germany.

The Men's 110m hurdles seen here also took place on 24 July 1952. The six competitors seen are Harrison Dillard (USA), Jack Davis (USA), Art Barnard (USA), Yevhen Bulanchyk (Soviet Union), Ken Doubleday (Australia) and Ray Weinberg (Australia).

"Yelena Gorchakov" should read Yelena Gorchakova.
