Cuts for story WIMBLEDON in CP 339. Similar footage to that in the cut story; with some sequences shot at the William Baker Technical School in Hertford with Reverend Bernard Nixon training the boys to improve their tennis ball skills. There are some excellent shots of people turning their heads left and right as if they were watching a game of tennis. There is also a short sequence of some boys doing woodwork, one giggling and looking very mischievous (01:02:19).
There are sequences as in the edited story, at Wimbledon, to show strawberries, fashion, and sequences from a match (01:03:16). Shots of lawn maintenance, a line of men mowing, white line painting (01:04:24). Shots at the Slazenger factory, including making the rubber shapes, the pills put inside for bounce, the halves fitted together, covered with white fluffy fabric, squeeze tested, and checked for size. There are some final shots of lawn maintenance with some point of view shots from a huge sit on roller, working in tandem with the team of mowers, like a formation dance.
