    American Legion in Paris on 18th anniversary of the Armistice. Various shots of war veterans - ex-servicemen and women walking in parade up the Champs Elysees. They head towards the tomb of the unknown soldier at the Arc de Triomphe.

    C/U of flames superimposed over shot of war cemetery. M/S of American soldiers marching past Arc (possibly old World War One footage?). Various shots of American war memorial - French and American flags hang from it.

    Note: old records suggest this may once of been part of an LNER issue.
