    Various unsteady aerial shots flying over the whole Cape Kennedy complex. We see the various launch sites, approach roads to the sites and block houses. The Apollo X1 stands still shrouded in it's tower and launching platform. Var. ground shots of rockets used in early space flights standing around the site as memorials. Var. shots of the Apollo X1 as it stands on it's launch pad. Big GV Interior the control room which at this time is almost deserted but which will be centre of control for the flight. We see a few CU's of consuls with their screens and buttons. Sequence of shots taken during a run-through of the transfer of the mobile quarantine unit from a N.A.S.A. pickup ship, off loaded onto a trailer and transfered by road to specially constructed area at the Houston base where the astronauts will spend their quarantine period. MS Interior the mobile transfer van. Var. shots interior the Houston laboratory where the scientists will make final checks on their equipment which will be used to examine the samples brought back from the moon. We see instruments which will measure Moon radioactivity, rare gasses, rock samples and white mice that will learn of any diseases. Var. shots interior the quarantine section building where the returning astronauts will spend their three weeks. We see the E.T. room, recreation room, mess hall and living quarters. Var. shots of more of the complex laboratory equipment which will be used to test moon samples. (F/G)
