01:11:00 "Toronto - The R.C.A.F. show and a glimpse of Niagara." The royals arrive in a Royal Canadian Airforce Plane. Fly past by the RCAF. VS of the Royals at the Falls.
01:11:57 "Calgary - Pow-wow with the Indians and the famous Stampede." Royal train arrives in cold and snowy weather. The Princess wears a warm fur coat. The Lieutenant Governor of Alberta and Cowboy Mayor Mackay welcome the royal party and take them to the Indian village where members of the five South Alberta tribes were in camp. M/S of the Princess and the Duke meeting men in full American Indian traditional dress (Canadian Indians?). "Mrs Chief Heavyside" brings gifts for the royal children. Various shots of traditional dancing by the Canadian Indians. Calgary Stampede - at a sports stadium the Princess and Duke step out of a 90 year old stage coach once used by Edward VII. The royals watch a rodeo. The Duke wears a cowboy hat. A horse drawn cart race takes place.
01:13:33 "Port Arthur - The Dionne Quins (big girls now!) and back to Montreal." The Royals meet the Dionne quintuplets. The quins are all lined up and the Princess shakes hands with each girl. Montreal - the Royals are driven around a stadium full of well-wishers.
01:14:22 Queen Mary Veterans Hospital. Various shots of the Princess' visit. She is shown around the hospital wards and speaks to some of the patients.
01:14:53 "Washington - At home to the press. Entertaining the President at the Canadian Embassy." Shots of the plane arriving in Washington DC, United States of America (USA). Guard of honour waits for the Royals' arrival. Royal cavalcade through the streets.
01:15:17 Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) holds a press conference for the local American newspaper men. The Princess makes a speech to the assembled reporters. The Princess speaks to various journalists, as does Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh - he has a joke with two female reporters who are conferring with each other and don't notice that he is trying to read what one of them is writing.
01:15:51 Nice shots of the President Harry Truman, Mrs Truman and their daughter Margaret at the Canadian Embassy. The Princess looks very elegant. The plane leaves and is waved off.
01:16:32 "The last lap - Through the "Whistle stops" to St. Johns, and so farewell to Canada." Moving shots from a train travelling through Canadian landscape. The train passes through many villages and hamlets. C/U of railway station signs for St Hyacinthe, Fredericton, Truro, Amherst, travelling shots of landscapes, crowds on railway platforms, the royals on the back of the train waving.
01:17:40 High angle shot of a small harbour - Portugal Cove in Canada. Various shots of people bidding the Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh farewell as they leave on the ferry "Maneco". Man in uniform waves as the royal boat leaves.
