    The location is Morecambe.

    The competition is the National Bathing Beauty Contest.

    The first girl seen, Sylvia Wren, also appears in Pathe clip 1486.34, in another Beauty Contest.

    The winner, named here as Violet Pretty, went on to become much better known as an actress, under the name Anne Heywood.
