    This is filmed in first months of 1944. People in movie are yugoslav refugees (Croatians from Dalmatia) evacuated from Yugoslavia during german invasion of Adriatic coast after capitulation od Italy. Ship traveled from Taranto in Italy to Port Said in Egypt. From there refugees traveled to El Shatt refugee camp (seen in this video), which is located near southern part of Suez canal, in Sinai. About 28 000 refugees lived there.
