    Explorers; exploration. Return of the Terra Nova; Robert Falcon Scott made an expedition to Antarctica in the terra nova in 1910. But here; in this film the returning ship is welcomed by crowds. Ship's rigging fg; crowd standing on quay in bg. Pan rt. On ship; several men on deck - - some visitors in suits & hats as well as crew.

Same; but better view of dogs (sled dogs); pan rt. On crowd. Finally shot which should have been first: the small ship approaching through harbour. Little tugboat behind; w/ British naval flag;other ships in harbour in bg. Adventure. Boats.

    As the clip's description already states, the Terra Nova arrived home in 1913, enabling a reduction of the clip's current date range of 1914-18.
