Riots in Vienna; Austria; July 15; 1927 broke out when 3 members of the Veterans' Movement were acquitted of assault charges resulting from a confrontation w/ the Republican Defence League, incl. accusations of striking a worker and a child. Opens w/ wide shot Palace of Justice w/ papers flying out of second floor window; crowd in front; some people running up steps & into building.

Pan around interior; extensive damage fallen beams; piles of smouldering rubble. Shot entrance hall soaked w/ water from fire hoses; a fire-fighter walking around.
