Various shots smashed up car. M/S policeman and other pushing car over, pan to broken glass in road. M/S Mr. Leather-Barrow's car which was involved in collision with lorry. Mr. Leather-Barrow escaped with his life owing to safety belts. C/U smashed car. Panning C/U car driving at speed, it stops very sharply to demonstrate new type of safety belt. The driver opens the car door and starts to unhook safety belt.

Peter Haigh walks over to examine the dummy's head which has been thrown through the windscreen. This test demonstrates why seat belts are necessary!
