He says he's never met a kinder and more generous man in his life. He says he "digs him" and sends "peace and love" to him. He also sends his love to all his friends in England and says "thank you for allowing me to pay my tribute to one of your favourite people and one of my favourite friends, Mr David Frost".

    The date range for this clip can be very slightly narrowed down, for this clip shows Sammy Davis Junior's tribute to David Frost, filmed for an episode of "This is Your Life" transmitted in Great Britain in January 1972.

    We can assume, therefore, that the footage was shot in either 1971 or 1972.
