Start of the 7th round Scottish Cup football match between Heart of Midlothian and Aberdeen. LV. Heart of Midlothian (Hearts) in dark shirts kick-off, Aberdeen collect the ball and move up field. LV. Crowd. SV. Leggatt taking a quick throw in. Buckley outpaces Glidden, cleverly brings ball under control, shoots and Duff, the Hearts' goalkeeper, makes a wonderful save. He picks himself up and tries to prevent the ball going for a corner. SV. Duff scrambling for the ball but it goes behind a corner. LV. Leggatt taking a corner, ball dances around the Hearts' goal mouth, it goes to Allister. Allister, well outside the penalty area, heads towards goal, Duff leaps but ball enters net. SV. Aberdeen players congratulating. SV. Crowd applauding. SV. Duff again in action as he lifts a centre from Leggatt's head and clears up field. SV. Hearts trying to get through a strong Aberdeen defence. SV. Fast first time tackle by Young robs Bauld of a chance. LV. Crowd. Half time score, Aberdeen 1-0. LV. Aberdeen taking a corner, ball is cleared, out to Souness who races up the wing. Smith runs into position to intercept and they both race towards the goal line. SV. Smith conceding a corner. LV. Souness taking a corner. SV. Martin leaps to intercept, ball bounces from his hand but Allister clears with a mighty kick. SV. Crowd. SV. Souness lobbing ball to Bauld who scores. SV. Crowd cheering. LV. Hearts working the ball up field, ball to Souness, he beats Smith, taps the ball back to Bauld who has wandered out to the wing. Bauld kicks goalwards. SV. Good covering by Aberdeen backs ball headed off goal line with goalkeeper out of goal. LV. Souness taking a corner. Martin keeps his goal clear. Ball scrambled out. Urquhart runs into ball. SV. Martin saves his shot and clears up field. Final score, Aberdeen 1, Heart of Midlothian 1.
