Full title reads: "Yorkshire, Sheffield's new City Hall - costing £500,000 & which has taken 16 years to erect - opened by the Lord Mayor - 'a monument indeed worthy of this great City!"

Civic dignitaries, including the Lord Mayor of Sheffield and members of the City Council walk in procession. Crowds of people are out to watch them.
The procession, led by a man carrying the civic ceremonial mace, walks up the steps of the City Hall.
