    St. David's Day; Welsh holiday. Opens with Welsh girls selling daffodil flowers or pins. These are Miss Olwen Lloyd George and some lady helpers in traditional / national costume. They have boxes hanging from their necks like cigarette girls and smaller boxes for coins. CU of one of these Welsh girls pinning flower on soldier; then holding up small box as he puts coin in.

    Parade of Welsh Fusiliers; with crowd joining in; walking along. Man in front with goat mascot. Crowd walking by in FG; with soldiers behind them. CU Soldiers marching toward camera. Fifes and drums. Group including Lord Mayor reviews troops. Side view man with goat standing there watching. ECU soldier's face; with rifle over soldier.

    Note: the soldiers have little leeks, national symbol of Wales, tucked into their caps - SL.
