Tree trunks are seen on their journey from the forest to the saw mill and along the log flume.
Titles read: "Taking giants for a ride. The giants in this case are those of the forests of the great North West, where nature is ravished so that men may live in ugly cities - ".
Location of events unknown - probably United States of America (USA).
Various shots of tree trunks being transported across woodland by steam train. They are then pushed down a slope and into a mill pond. The logs are then taken into a lumber house / saw mill by conveyor belt and cut up. The pieces of wood travel along a log flume; several point of view shots actually taken from the flume, some showing the cameraman standing there filming. The flume is very close to the side of the mountain and very narrow; we move along it at quite a speed.
