General view ledger clerks at York St. bank. MS girl at console taking telephone message from the Royal Exchange branch - the manager is asking her to transmit a statement. Console operator finds statement and places it under a camera on the console, we see the magnified statement on a television screen. The image of the statement is transmitted to Royal Exchange branch where another operator transmits the image to the bank manager's office. MS bank manager sitting behind desk with a client opposite him, on the desk is a television monitor. The manager swings the monitor to show the client the transmitted image of the bank statement. Manager then telephones the York St. operator and asks her to send another image, this time showing a cheque (same transmission process is shown again).
