They shake hands and the father drives off. Robert (?) Dionne the babies' grandfather is shown. Shot of the Dionne farm and the house that has been built for the nurses. Large amount of washing on the line. Shot of the parents. Dr Dafoe puts on a gown and mask. The babies are weighed. Pan across the babies, different expressions including crying and yawning. A nurse washes one of the babies, another is weighed, a nappy is put on. Dr Dafoe holds two babies while the parents look on. A nurse puts a baby back in the incubator and prepares their feed.

    Washington D.C.: Dr Dafoe arrives by aeroplane. He meets President Franklin D Roosevelt at the White House (not shown, only mentioned in commentary). Al Smith shows Dr Dafoe the New York skyline. Dr Dafoe puts on Father Christmas outfit. There is a large Christmas tree by the cot. Dr Dafoe hands out presents. Quins are now older. (Two?) They sit in small high chairs and are given bowls of food and mugs to drink from. C/U of the babies eating, drinking and brushing their teeth, dancing and playing. The girls have their shoes and socks put on by a nurse. Birthday party - Dr Dafoe is there. Some sound missing.
