Irish International Grand Prix for the Phoenix Trophy at Phoenix Park Dublin on 5th & 6th June 1931.
5th June 1931: the Saorstát Cup Handicap race (for cars up to 1500cc) is won by Norman Black in an MG Midget.
6th June 1931: the Éireann Cup Handicap race (for cars over 1500cc) is won by Sir Henry "Tim" Birkin in an Alfa Romeo 8C 2300.
Black wins the Irish Grand Prix on aggregate and Birkin is second.
