LizzieB says
The 'elderly lady' is Georgina (Gina) MacKinnon (1884-1973). She was instrumental in building up the company with her husband, Malcolm (Calum) MacKinnon from 1915 onwards and after his death in 1945 became Chair, a role she held until her own death in 1973. She was the only person who knew the recipe for Drambuie and made it up herself at home, which is what is being shown here. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s she made regular trips to the US marketing Drambuie and in 1964 was awarded an OBE for her services to British exports.
