    The event took place on 6 May 1933.

    Amongst the car makes seen here are Austin, Maserati, Bugatti and Amilcar.

    The car seen stalling on the grid, (No. 35), is a Riley.

    The Honorable Brian Lewis (later Lord Essendon) winning the JCC 250-mile International Trophy Race in an Alfa Romeo 8C-2300 Monza.

    The result was:
    1st - No.7 Hon.Brian Lewis (Alfa Romeo) 2:58:12 (88.07 mph)
    2nd - No.16 E.R. ("Eddie") Hall (MG Magnette) 3:09:37.4
    3rd No.18 Mrs E.M. (Elsie - "Bill") Wisdom (MG Magnette) 3:13:14

    Of the 28 starters, only 8 finished the race.

    (No.35 is Freddie Dixon's Riley - he didn't finish)
