Young children pick oranges in Spain.
Filmed in Sunny Spain.
Spanish "tots" set off for the Orange orchards - a group of young children (4-8 years old probably) walk away from the camera down a country lane. A woman leads them into an orchard and they begin to pick fruit from the trees. C/U of the fruit hanging from the tree. C/U two young girls picking the fruit from the tree. M/S of three girls crouching on the ground putting fruit into a basket (these look more like apples actually). C/U of three girls eating Orange segments. They laugh.
"Where the fruit hangs higher, big brothers and fathers find a job - " Low angle shot of men picking fruit high in the tree tops. Young boys carry baskets on their heads. High angle shot of a large basket full of fruit. Fruit is tipped from baskets onto a large pile. "Youngsters" sort the fruit in a large warehouse. The fruit is transported to the docks on horse drawn carts. Various shots of the docks with boxes of fruit being loaded onto a barge.
