The A.T.S. girl working the predictor is Ruth Marsh (ne Slade). She was my nan. She always told us that she was on the same gun as Lady Churchill, but we thought it a shaggy dog story. Then I came across this film... Sorry, nan! It's such a pity that she is no longer around to see this film, but at least I can literally show my children what my nan did during the war. There's not many people who can say that. Thanks, Pathe!
