London (probably Pathe Studio).
M/S of comedian Gordon Freeman shuffling cards and asking for a volunteer from the audience to come up and assist him in an experiment. A voice off-camera pipes up, "I say, will I do?" and makes his way (unseen) to the stage. The man appears on the stage, wearing a monocle and some gappy teeth, and refuses to pick a card from a pack that Gordon holds out. There follows some silly business between the two as the gormless man does not understand why Gordon should try and guess which card he picks.
Poor Gordon becomes more and more exasperated as they man wrecks his magic act, finally throwing his cards in the air and marching off.
