Night and two lorry drivers are talking, one refers to a buggy race they have just seen. Day and the buggy race is starting. Four kids ride soapbox's down a road. The lorry drivers refer to the Longbridge BMC works, dissolve to their design room with drawings and models for the Morris FJ Series. Seats are placed into the FJ cab.( The FJ is a lorry.) The position of the steering wheel is checked.

A proto type of the FJ is tested on snow clad surfaces. The proto type is then loaded with large concrete blocks and driven over thousands of miles in rugged Scotland. All the special features are tested. Cut back to the two truck drivers who say it takes seven years to design a truck.

Various shots show the cams produced and mounted. We see them turning. Cogs are ground as slowly the engine is assembled. WS and tracking shots from the engine assembly, to the chassis, and coach work of the FJ finalised. The finished truck is driven off the assemble line.

A new FJ is tested on the road before it finally leaves the factory. The tilt cab is demonstrated to show easy access to the engine. The talking drivers from the beginning are arriving in London. One asks the other what he thinks of the new truck, "there's none better", comes the reply.
