A man in a bowler hat, overcoat and carrying an umbrella comes walking out of the door, speaks to the doorman and walks off along the street. He walks into Hyde Park, nice shots of the park and ducks. Horseguards riding along the road. Back at the hotel we see our man chatting to two middle-aged women at the entrance. Doorman beckons a car and the man and women get in. They are driven off through London. General view of Buckingham Palace. Small crowd of people outside - waiting for investiture ceremony? Our people are driven in through the gates and join a queue of people going inside.

Interior shots show a man (could be our 'star') walking up a red carpet to be knighted by Queen Elizabeth II while an audience in evening dress watches. Exterior shots of the Palace. People coming out of the Palace after the ceremony and posing for photographers. L/S of royal standard flying. Our group are driven off. Exterior shot of restaurant '-- de France'. Inside we see our group having lunch - looks very posh. Waiters pour champagne. The group help themselves to a bowl of enormous prawns.
