Various shots at a farmyard (location unknown), the "men of the Maquis" retrieve hidden rifles and bren guns from barn. Amongst them is a young woman. They then march off carrying the French flag.

U.S. troops and nurses look at shops, they sit at cafe tables and watch mechanised units move through the town. Shops are fully stocked, everyone seems happy.
