M/S of a line of cars on the road. They are driving along the tulip fields. Voiceover informs that it is "Tulip Time" festival in Spalding, Lincolnshire, and an estimated one hundred thousand people visit to enjoy famous flower festival.
M/S of a young boy giving a bouquet of tulips to a lady. She already has one in her hands. M/S of a man handing a bouquet to a lady in a car. Cut to the two women working on the tulip field picking flowers. M/S of one of the women picking flowers. High angle C/U shot of a basket filled with flowers. M/S of another woman working. C/U shot of the woman's face as she works. Several shots of people picking and collecting the tulips.
Several shots of the men covering a lorry with flowers. This is the vehicle on which the queen of the flower parade - Miss Tulipland will be seated. Cut to the workers in the fields while voiceover talks about the history of the festival.
M/S of a young woman in long white gown, followed by the two young ladies in pink - Tulip Queen Janet Bray and her two attendants. M/S of Ms Bray climbing up the greatly decorated lorry to take her seat. M/S of several children watching her. L/S of Ms Bray and the two attendants on the car. Looks unreal. M/S of the three ladies sitting and waving to the crowds. M/S of the people on the side of the road waving. M/S of the 'gaily decorated procession'. C/U shot of Ms Bray's face as she waves happily. Several shots of the parade are followed by a great panning shot of the colourful tulip field.
