CU Mr Churchill continues: "It is our interest and our duty and if you like our Christian duty to do the best we can to blot out and sweep away the hatreds, and vengeance sof the past and to try to make a better and a broader world in which victors and vanquished shall be able to live together, where the old feuds will die and the old hatreds will vanish and those who stand by and those who have been taught to stand by the principles of Freedom and law and honour, will be able to work together for their further defence against any new dangers which may present themselves from any quarter."
