    Note: the soundtrack to this item is missing, the film is unidentified, it could relate to the story 'Bravo Jean' about pilot Jean Batten in 36/83 on *PM0895*

    I think this footage shows tow completely different women.

    I can't comment on the first 19 seconds of material, but the footage from 0:21 onwards shows Jean Batten arriving at Croydon on 29 April 1935, having just completed a solo flight from Australia to England.

    Confirming my earlier supposition that there are two separate pieces of film here, the first 19 seconds of footage come from clip 948.05, about a young aerial stuntwoman.
