  • Short Summary

Soldiers and sailors pose and lark about for camera on board HMS Hercules.

  • Description

Various servicemen and crew aboard ship - HMS Hercules.

    Location of events unknown.

RAF (?) officer poses before huge gun turrets on ship. Pan across group of soldiers on deck - not sure of the nationality, but look like they could be Austrian or German prisoners of war who are being repatriated.

Pan across group of Naval officers (British?), all larking about, smoking pipes and looking jolly. There are some army officers or soldiers there too, in tam o'shanters - some of the other men swap hats with them.

Pan across a huge group of soldiers and sailors on deck of a ship. One sailor holds up the lifebelt (HMS Hercules) and another sailor looks through it. All look smiling and happy.

M/Ss of three officers (naval, air force and army?), posing separately before the massive gun turrets.
