SV. Towards England taking the field. SV. Massed crowd. GV. of the kick off. England playing from right to left, all dressed in white, and England kick off, and it goes into the Welsh half. GV. The ball running loose. Jim Griffiths falls over an Englishman and the ball goes loose, where a Welshman passes the ball to C. Morgan who passes it across field to another Welshman who receives, and starts to run forward with the ball, but he passes, but it is intercepted. SCU. Types in crowd. SV. The ball is loose and Butterfield kicks it forward where a Welshman tries to grab it, but it goes loose, drops into the arms of R. Robins, but he is pulled down and an Englishman falls on top of him The ball goes loose, where P.G.D. Robbins picks it up and passes it to J. Butterfield, and Butterfield tries to get it to Cannell so that it is intercepted by Welshman who runs and kicks up field. SCU. Types in crowd. SV. Mob of players and E. J. Ashcroft with the ball, but he loses it and it is kicked forward by several men to Welsh half, where it goes out of play. GV. Massed crowd. GV. Line out. An Englishman throws it in and the referee blows his whistle and points, denoting that Maddocks is offside. SV. Crowd. GV. The penalty kick being taken. Allyson (Allison?) kicks, and the balls going between the posts. England 3 - Wales 0. LV. Scoreboard "England 3-Wales 0. (Half Time)
SV. Play, Keith Maddocks trying to get to the ball, but Dickie Jeapes (Dickie Jeeps?) hustles him off and it ends in a pile up. Jacobs kicks the ball free, where an Englishman picks it up and starts to run forward. LV. As an Englishman Ashcroft is brought down by C. C. Meredith, but it is falling. He passes to another Englishman who starts to run forward, but he is intercepted. SCU. Types in crowd. LV. Welshman with the ball. C. I. Morgan, starts to dash up field, he dodges Robbins and eludes R. Higgins. TV. Morgan still in possession being pursued by Ashcroft, but he passes where it is intercepted by an Englishman who turns round and starts to come towards the Welsh half. This is not P. B. Jackson. SV. Towards Englishman with ball. He evades a Welshman's tackle, but he is brought down by T. E. Davies, and the ball goes loose as a mix up starts.
