The man asking the questions in the clip is John Stapleton, who was working for Thames Television at the time.
Regarding the clip's current date range, the Watergate scandal didn't break until 1972. Nixon is clearly still in power at the time these interviews were filmed, but resigned in 1974. The clip's date range can therefore safely be reduced to 1972-74.
