M/S of a Wedgwood shop in a city street; a couple look in the window; various pieces of Wedgwood are seen in C/U in the window display.

Several shots in the Wedgwood factory show pots and plates being made, starting with people working with balls of clay, making the pieces on wheel and shaving off surplus clay. Other workers are seen making crockery pieces by casting - pouring the 'slip' into a plaster mould. Plates are shaped on wheels and stacked onto trolleys.

This film is accompanied by a great jazz soundtrack.
