    Despite the title card, "Vicker's Vimy" should read Vickers Vimy.

    The event seen here took place on 21 February 1921. A period magazine report of it appears in the right-hand paragraph here......

    Sadly, Sir Ross Smith died in an air crash just over a year later, in April 1922.
