    Anti nuclear protesters at US Polaris submarine base in Holy Loch. L/Ss of demonstrators marching towards the dock at Holy Loch. L/S As they reach the dock. M/S The dock. Proteus can be seen at the far side of the Loch pan down to show demonstrators all ready sitting down. M/S As one of the demonstrators is lifted by two policemen. L/S As the man is carried off. M/S Another demonstrator is lifted by arms and legs and carried off. L/S Another demonstrator being carried off. L/S As the demonstrator is lifted up and carried into the back of a removal van. L/S Policemen outside a temporary police station speaking to demonstrators who are still sitting down.

    L/S White City athletics stadium in. L/S The start of the 6 miles the gun is fired pan as the runners go into the first bend and round into the back straights. L/S As the runners come towards camera, Martin Hyman is leading followed by Bruce Tulloh, M. Bullivant and M. Batty. L/S Crowd. L/S As the runners come into the front straight still in the same order, pan with Tulloh laying second. L/S Crowd. L/S As the leaders come into the final straight Hyman is leading Tulloh. Tulloh spurts past Hyman on the outside and then past a backmarker, M. Batty, and goes on to win easily. L/S Crowd applauding. C/U Tulloh on the left and Hyman pan to C/U of Bruce Tulloh.
