Pan across spectators at air show. The Wright Brothers are seen preparing planes for flight. Several shots of the Brothers taking part in aerobatic display, doing flying stunts above the crowds.
Intertitle: 'Teddy Roosevelt just back from Darkest Africa dropped in to look things over'.
US President Theodore Roosevelt arrives in an open car, escorted by cavalcade, and watches the display from the vehicle. He talks to some men, then is seen getting into one of the planes with intricate framework.
Cut to shot of the plane in flight and moving along runway (after landing?). Roosevelt gets out of the plane and is surrounded by men. One man tries to clear people away from Roosevelt so the cameraman has a clearer view. Roosevelt takes his hat off and shakes hands with a soldier, chatting as he walks off.
End title: 'Pathe' - with a crowing cockerel in iris effect.
