• Short Summary

Astrologer and Psychologist Gabriel Dee tells us how to judge character by looking at a person's eyes.

  • Description

Full titles read: "Every mortal soul of us would like to be able to "read" the other fellow's (or Lady's) character when we meet." (new title) "'Your Eyes - are the windows of the soul and betray you', says Gabriel Dee, the Astrologer and Psychologist. And here's the reason why!"

M/S of a middle-aged woman, Gabriel Dee, sitting at a desk. She talks about reading the character of a person by looking at their eyes. According to her, if the eyes are too far apart, that person is stupid; too near and the person is very cunning and crafty. The person with a steady gaze is more trustworthy than the one with a flickering gaze.

We see several C/Us of drawings of different eye 'characters' as Gabriel tells us what they signify. Brief clips of Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin (steady honest eyes), Philip Snowden (earnest and dour), Jack Dempsey (primitive eyes) and Benito Mussolini (eyes of a ruler and leader). More examples of eye character are given. Gabriel ends by telling us to watch the eyes of people, so that we know how to deal with them.

Note: There are several items featuring Gabriel Dee. This item may name her as Gabrielle Dee but other items spell her name Gabriel.
